The City of Delray Beach prides itself in providing exceptional support and annual initiatives that are a true benefit to our residents. On Saturday, April 13th, the City’s Community Improvement Department, Neighborhood Services Division will continue its efforts to renovate aging neighborhoods through “Curb Appeal by the Block”.  This exciting program is an enhancement of the City’s eighteen (18) year Paint-Up Delray and is modeled after popular home improvement national television show where they transform homes and streets.

Beginning at 7:30 am, 250 energetic volunteers from all around our community will descend on the northwest section of Delray Beach to help beautify nine (9) homes just north of Atlantic Avenue and east of I-95. Home improvement projects will include exterior pressure washing, exterior painting, mailboxes and minor landscaping.  All supplies will be provided by the City of Delray Beach and community service hours will be awarded.

Get involved in helping your neighbors by participating in the “Curb Appeal by the Block” event.  To volunteer and/or find out more information about this exciting community project, contact Jennifer Costello, Neighborhood Planner, at (561) 243-7228 or by E-mail at
